A new historical block

Take a stroll through Figueira da Foz, and be sure to visit the " Bairro Novo" built in 1860, inspired by French seaside resorts. In response to the growing influx of summer visitors, the city was adorned with Art Nouveau and Art Deco monuments. Among these architectural gems, the Palais Sotto Mayor stands out for its elegance, now hosting exhibitions, concerts, fashion events, conferences and a museum.
